BT Floor Safe
The BT is a certified floor safe, tested to EN 1143-1 Grade 1 and certified by VdS in Germany, set into the floor so it sits flush and out of sight. Two sizes hold 44 and 72 litres.
Certified Grade 1 burglary protection
Every BT is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 rather than rated by the company that built it — so unlike a purely concealed floor safe, it carries a burglary grade an insurer can recognise. Building it into the floor also removes the attack a freestanding safe is most exposed to: being carried away whole. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.
Choosing your BT
Both sizes are 515 mm deep and differ in plan — the BT 100 is 500 × 390 mm holding 44 litres, the BT 300 is 600 × 490 mm holding 72 litres. The choice is therefore about the opening you can cut, not the depth. The door opens through 90 degrees on internal hinges. Choose a key lock with two keys or a 9-user electronic code lock.
