CFC Floor Safe
The CFC is a camouflaged floor safe, set into the floor so nothing is visible until the cover is lifted. Concealment is the protection — a safe an intruder never finds is one they cannot attack. A single 19-litre size, in a 435 × 305 × 285 mm body.
Concealed floor storage
The CFC is a concealed cabinet rather than a certified burglary-rated safe, so it is not the choice where an insurer specifies a burglary grade. It answers a different problem: where a visible safe advertises that something is worth taking, a floor safe under a carpet, a rug or a fitted floor gives no sign there is anything to look for.
Choosing your CFC
Two versions are available — the floor safe, and a floor cabinet secured by a mechanical combination lock. Both are set into the floor slab or a recess rather than standing in the room, so fitting one is a building job rather than a delivery. Best suited to homes, and to shops and offices where a wall safe or a freestanding safe would be too conspicuous.
