Office Data Star
The Office Data Star is a fireproof data safe graded S2 to EN 14450 and fire-tested for 60 minutes, sized for IT offices and server rooms holding working backup sets. Four sizes run from 118 to 587 litres, quoted in LTO tape capacity as well as volume.
60-minute fire protection for data media
Data media are damaged at far lower temperatures than paper, and by humidity as well as heat, so a data-rated safe has to hold both down for the full test. Burglary resistance is graded S2 to EN 14450 — one tier below the EN 1143-1 burglary grades — and certified by ECB•S in Germany. Where an insurer requires an EN 1143-1 grade alongside the data rating, the Fire Star Plus range carries one.
Choosing your Office Data Star
Sizes run from 659 to 1,750 mm high on a constant 648 mm depth, so a larger model needs no more floor depth — useful in a rack room or against an office wall. Four movable shelves are included, more interior division than most safes of this size offer. Choose a key lock or one of three electronic code locks, in Graphite Grey RAL 7024, and bolt the safe down using the floor anchor points supplied.
