R Series – Tube Safe
The R Series is a tube safe — a narrow steel cylinder set into a wall or a floor, sized for cash, keys and small valuables rather than documents. Two lengths, both 70 mm across.
Concealed tube storage
A tube safe is not a certified burglary-rated safe. It is a concealment device: fitted into a cavity, under a floor or behind a fitting, it holds a roll of notes or a set of keys somewhere an intruder has no reason to look. Where an insurer specifies a burglary grade, the EN 14450 and EN 1143-1 ranges are the ones to choose.
Choosing your R Series
The R1 is 156 mm deep and the R2 is 240 mm, both 70 mm across, so what fits is governed by the cavity you can drill rather than by volume. Both are fixed into a wall or a floor. Best suited to a home, a holiday let or a small shop as a second place to keep cash — alongside a main safe rather than instead of one.
