Nickel Key Safe

The Nickel is a certified key safe for smaller key holdings, graded to the Swedish SSF 3492 standard and holding 56, 114 or 184 keys. Shallow at 150 to 220 mm deep, so it mounts on a wall without projecting into the room.

Certified key storage

SSF 3492 is the Swedish burglary standard for security cabinets, and the grade Swedish insurers most often recognise for key storage. A key cabinet is worth certifying because keys are worth what they open — a rack of property or vehicle keys is a faster route into a building or a fleet than any single lock on it. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.

Choosing your Nickel

Three sizes hold 56, 114 and 184 keys, standing 550 to 750 mm high and 350 to 420 mm wide on a shallow 150 to 220 mm body. The door opens through 180 degrees on external hinges, so the full rack is reachable when the safe is wall-mounted. Choose a key lock or an electronic code lock. Where more capacity is needed, the STC and STL ranges carry EN 1143-1 Grade 1 certification and hold up to 3,240 keys.
